As members of the Canadian Nurses Association we were given the opportunity to publicize our 'Write For Hope' campaign on the local news channel, CTV Channel 9. A news crew visited our Kwantlen University College campus in Surrey to conduct an interview and film us at work trying to collect signatures from students and members of the executive council in the Kwantlen Student Nurses Association. We successfully accumulated over 400 signatures on our banner which will be added to our target of 5000 signatures nationwide amongst nursing schools across Canada. CTV News heard about our goal and felt that it would be a fitting story to commorate Breast Cancer Awareness month this past October 2007.
